The only reason i'm giving this a four star instead of five is that we have the same type of trails at home so it wasn't to unfamiliar. Still its a fun filled adventure.

There are so many beautiful views and waterfalls! There are some of the more popular trails along this motor way (Rainbow Falls and Grotto Falls), so there may be a lot of cars parked precariously along the roads (since there isn't a large enough parking lot for either of these). There are plenty of pull outs to stop and admire... More

We tried to go here for Spring Break but found that it's closed due to the fire damage. We are hopeful that it will be open next year. What we did see was amazing

The Nature Trail is a part of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the most visited Nation Park in the U.S. There is no admission charge and you will have some magnificent views from different spots on the trail. Be sure to bring your camera. You might even see some bear.

We loved the motor loop - and actually did see a couple of bears - the beauty of the stream, trees, and serenity gives you such a high - hate to go back to the hustle and bustle of the city - highly recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy nature at its very best.

This is a beautiful area! In spring, Roaring Fork abounds with wildflowers, in the fall, striking autumn colors! We have seen many Mama bears with cubs here! It is not as busy as Cades Cove and has beautiful streams and waterfalls/ This is especially nice for people who are not able to hike the long trails. You can drive the... More

Roaring Fork is a great place to a little side trip to , there are historic homes, and walking trails . Every time my family goes to Gatlinburg we make sure to stop in for a quick drive through the loop. We have seen many bears through there which excites my kids very much, they love going . I highly... More

Don't leave the Smokies without taking this relaxing drive. A short distance but with fantastic views.

Lovely walk, went nice and early when no one else was about, simply wonderful. On route back it started to get a little busier. Great activity any time of the year!

We spent a week in the Pigeon Forge area and visited Roaring Fork every evening just before dusk. We spotted bears every day! We will be visiting again this summer and hope that the fire hasn't completely destroyed the bear habitat.
