Interesting, can be tough to follow the markers (stacked stones), a bit dangerous at the top, not for little ones IMHO. You can really see the desolation in the area and the Pu'u O'o is visible in the distance. Hiking shows are a good choice....More

Found on chain of craters road in the Hawaiian volcanoes national park this trail is a more older volcanic hill with younger lava flows over it. Many varieties of Lava fields are here with some trees and plants growing. Nice area to visit.

I visit this place by helicopter. Very good pilot. The trip is a little shorter that I imagined. A tip: must have wind protection equipment, because the helicopter doesn't have doors.
