The drive there is absolutely breathtaking with several overlooks on the way and at the visitor center. The Emmons Vista Trail also starts here.

A very interesting visitor center to learn more about the area and the mountain. There are displays, books, films and rangers to give you information on the park and hiking trails. A good way to start your day.

Very nice area and not as crowded as Paradise. A great place to take pictures but best in the morning and a good place to do a hike.

Sunrise Visitor Center is a must visit place if you have time. The view is great. The drive to the top is like driving in a paradise.

We did not see any dogs except for one but it was assisting a person with limited abilities.
