This is not the closest ski area to Seattle but it by far the best! There is a good mix of beginning, intermediate, and expert terrain. The bottom to top Gondola that was put in several years ago really enhanced an already good experience. If you love to ski and are in Washington in winter you must visit.

I have a season pass and know the mountain pretty well. There are quite a few options for lunch and the food is pretty good. Be aware there is NO convenient store to buy even a toothbrush or a bag of chips. Also there is no women's or men's locker room to change clothes in private. There is a big... More

Today, the rental skis go on sale at Crystal. I was able to buy a pair of used Dynastar skis late yesterday because I was not going to make a long drive just to buy the skis today. Nice of the staff to accommodate me. Beforehand, I spent $55 to rent 2 pair of performance skis to see which pair... More

Ok I am NOT cool enough to say Pow Pow but my 25 year old daughter insisted. Ok I am a blue - green skier. I had a blast. Many runs that never got old. Great snow. The resort gave me a discount for being a veteran and included my depends. The lift operaters were very professional. The restaurant at... More

Probably the best ski resort I've visited in Western Washington. The location due to its geography has some of the nicest snow on the region. Its got a great mix of different runs of various levels, some of which are nice and long. I definitely experienced some challenging runs that made me feel alive. Most of the chair lifts are... More

We visited Crystal Mountain in late May, took the gondola up the summit, and had a great time playing in the snow. As we live in Hawaii, this was a big deal and we had an unforgettable day throwing snowballs and then warming up at the restaurant up there with a lovely hot chocolate and burger. We would definitely go... More
