Our family, with great grandparents, and a four year old were able to enjoy this short hike together. Lovely streams, and easy path to a rushing cascade. Took lots of pictures. Flowers were sweet.

This is a fairly easy hike- allow 4 hours minimum since you will stop for pictures etc. Also, take plenty of water- we went through 4 (two each). The view long the way are amazing!

We planned only to take this hike to Copeland Falls, but decided to keep going. It does get significantly more uphill after that, but the path is amazing, running right along a raging river (raging in June, at least). Do be careful- someone ahead of...More

This is a really easy hike (good for all ages and abilities) that's a little out of the way but worth the drive. We came here on our first day in RMNP because we thought it would be less crowded and we were right. It...More

I try to come to RMNP once a year and when I do I typically hike this up to Ouzel Falls. This is the perfect hike to put the camera down, put the phone away, and just relax. You hike alongside the water all the...More

We really enjoy going to the falls, especially in late May or June when the snow melts and it has greater flow. This is a beautiful hike in the Wild Basin area. Can be crowded in summer, but if you can find parking and have...More

About 0.3 miles into this 2 mile one way, hike you encounter Copeland Falls (add some mileage to the posted 1.7 because you will want to keep leaving the trail to get closer to water). For almost the entire remaining distance to Calypso Cascades you...More

This is a great trail if you have kiddos and are not an adventurous hiker. The trail passes a few falls on the way to Calypso Cascades (3.5 miles). The hike is beautiful. Get there early if you want to get a parking spot!
