This overlook was spectacular after driving up the switch backs to Trail Ridge Road. Coming from the west side, it was the first major overlook that offered colorful fall views of the canyon. It does have a pull off and we had no problem finding a spot to park. It was a simple and quick view so the cars moved... More

There are so many wonderful views in rocky Mountain National park. As the driver it was nice to stop and enjoy the view, and take some pictures. There is no services or tables at this lookout but the view of the valley is breathtaking.

After the steep climb from the valley we stopped to take a peek back down . The viewpoint gives a wonderful view of not only the valley below , but the Never Summer Range across the valley . For us it was definitely one of the prettiest stops on the highway .

This is one of the prettier overlooks on Trail Ridge road overlooking the west side of the park. Large parking area and many photo ops

This is such a breathtaking place. We stopped here during winter, and were amazed by the fresh air and beautiful view. There's not many activities you could do here, but be at piece with your thoughts is definitely the perfect thing to do here.

We were able to spend a long time enjoying this overlook with no worries about traffic or parking. We were stopped here by a flagman due to road construction, aand as a result spent more time here than we normally would have.

I have included a photo from the morning and one from the afternoon. Personally, I prefer the morning views but the afternoon can be quite nice though is sometimes starts to cloud over, muting the colors. There are other curves to see, as well. Many Parks Curve, on the east side, is probably the best -I do not know why... More

This is very accessible from the west end of RMNP. Plenty of room for parking and pullout to accommodate visitors. INCREDIBLE VISTAS!

After going over the top of Trail Ridge Road, one would think that the views could not get any better. But Farview Curve Overlook is worth the stop. It comes up quickly and a blind curve. Not much parking, so be reasonable and courteous and you should be able to get in and out. Often in the summer there is... More

I view this as part of the Trail Ridge Road drive. There are pullouts and parking going each way so use them. There is a larger lot on the other side of the view. If you use that lot cross the road carefully using the provided cross walk. These views change during the day depending on the sun angle. Regardless,... More
