Beautiful views but the roads could be treacherous if during inclement weather. The upper part by Grant's Grove is much less curvy but still must be respected and taken slowly

A wonderful drive with many places and sights to take in along the way. You will find multiple photographic opportunities along the way and points of interest. Be sure to take a few minutes when you arrive and plan your must see sights and hikes....More

Mile after mile of huge trees and hairpin turns. Be prepared to pull off the road often to take it all in.

A beautiful drive. Slow going and under construction. Will be nice when it’s done. So be prepared to drive for hours

The road is steep and windy. We did the get to see much due to the thick fog. Very slow moving especially when following bikers and slow cars that do not have the courtesy to let you pass. Very annoying.

While you want to do the trip quickly, please be aware that the hairpin turns on the drive to the park are very dangerous and many people drive like maniacs on those turns, so be aware of that. It might be worth taking more... More
