Definately a beautiful drive in a wilderness area. The drive offers long range views of the canyon, a drive down the south fork of the Kings river, and spectacular warerfalls and forests. What's not to like? As good a drive as any in the 50...More

If you don't like winding twisty roads skip this but you do not know what you'll miss. One of the easy ways to see some spectacular mountain scenery amongst huge trees. Take your time and enjoy it.

This road does have its ups and downs, twists and turns, but is a very accessible road. I was driving a Toyota Camry and it was just fine. It was a beautiful road into beautiful country. If you aren't going to be able to do...More

Its one of the more beautiful national parks I have seen. It was not too crowded even though it was a long weekend.

This road leads to Cedar Lodge. The drive is beautiful, but without many tree and a river you see once in a while, I did not think it was such a scenic drive.

Every inch of this drive is breathtaking. The terrain changes so much as the elevation changes. Near Grant Grove. it is very green and forested. As you leave SEKI and enter Sequoia National Forest, you snake around the canyon rim and descend into the canyon....More

This drive has lots of vistas for photo ops. We especially enjoyed the drive along the rivers. Be sure to stop at the Grizzly Falls, too. Take your time and enjoy the views.

I believe it is hwy 180 too. I'm not sure exact mileage, it took us about 2 1/2 hours in good weather to travel through the highway, but note we did make some stops along the way. If you are going to make the effort to... More
