Skyline drive runs for miles through the Shenandoah National Park. We spent quite some time driving and stopping to take in the beauty that surrounded us. The scenic points are well spaced out and we found it to be sparse with other visitors even though...More

The road runs right up the middle of the park with grand vistas either side for about 72 miles and plenty of stopping points for enjoying and photographing the scenery.

This park has many nice views of mountains and valleys. However 75 outlooks are really very similar. You can also take some trails. Plan to spend a whole day.
