There is a tap room, restaurant, lodging, horseback riding and hiking. Check the schedule for there is often a special event going on like our favorite The Blackberry Festival. Also some beautiful views from trails near lodging.

Nice room with a great view. Excellent restaurant on site and plenty of good hikes that are close to the hotel. Make a point to go to stony man overlook. It is not a strenous hike and the view are amazing.

I stayed here with my family and it was terrible. Paid over $200 for a room with air conditioning and the unit could not keep the room cool. The hotel I stayed in the night before was only $95 and it was much better. The...More

We have stayed at Skyland previously, but this time, we just stopped for lunch in the Lodge before going on a hike to the nearby Stony Man Summit. The food was traditional and satisfying. The Stony Man Summit hike is moderately difficult, but short, and...More

While driving through the park, we needed a place to stretch and relax. This was a beautiful perfect spot. Everyone was friendly. Great views. We did not stay the night but looked at the rooms for the possible future.

Skyland is an excellent opportunity to stop the car, use the restroom, eat some food, and take in more views of Shenandoah NP. The area is clean, well-maintained and safe. You can find information on additional things to do while in the NP. Worth a...More

After hiking nine miles over two days (I know we're leisure hikers) we decided on stopping in at the Skyland Dining Room for a nice dinner to celebrate! Had the She Crab soup and ceasar salad - Awesome food.
