Hiking in winter to the top of a mountain ridge is only for the diehards. You'll experience first hand how brutally cold it can be on a sunny day. It was about 11 degrees and when we got to Mary's Rock the wind chill made...More

Pack a lunch and make the 3.7 round trip climb. At the top--you'll have a wonderful view of the valley as well as where you entered the park. Bring bug spray and water. The terrain may be a little tough (steep inclines, rocks, tree branches)...More

Enjoyed this hike. Slightly steep elevation change. View from the top was worth the climb. Moderately difficult.
