We stopped here thinking that this was the main part of the NP, but the ranger/worker informed us where to go for the main office. That being said, this was a great little gift shop with some artifacts that made it like a mini museum....More

Painted Canyon overlook is a must-see stop if you're near. It's right off I-94 and has a visitor's center with some gifts, bathroom, and information. Large parking lot and no cost. Stop by and take some pictures for sure.
