We observed people near the entrance attempting this hike in street clothes with flip flops or Tevas, perhaps because they had heard that you need "shoes that can get wet." These people did not make it very far, and missed out on the most stunning...More

We spent the afternoon hiking The Narrows after hiking Angel's Landing. The river water is freezing so be sure to wear layers depending on the temperature outside. Well worth the visit!

Hiking the Narrows is the only way to enjoy this wonder. I strongly recommend renting the proper equipment - canyoneering shoes, neoprene socks, dry pants, and a wooden walking stick. The water is very cold, and we were very comfortable with this proper equipment. These...More

There are not many places in the world that you can do a hike like this, so we couldn’t resist! We didn’t head out particularly early but didn’t have any issues with queueing for the buses or finding parking at around 10.30am (on a Wednesday...More

It is impossible to describe or capture the beauty of The Narrows unless you DO it. It is not for the faint of heart, tho. It is a full 2 hour hike up stream (and that's after you've walked a little over 1 mile from...More

We went with our kids ages 6, 9, and 11. We were limited by our six year old in terms of how far we could go, but it was worth it nonetheless. Some tips: we rented gear from Zion Outfitters. Have them close the full...More

We did this hike last week. Paved trail with a little bit of shade was great. It was REALLY crowded. We brought water shoes and were able to cross the water but didn't go too far up the canyon as the water was up to...More

We hiked the The Narrows, Zion National Park, in late March. It was one of the most beautiful hikes we’ve ever been on. My wife and I both used fishing waders and boots to stay dry. We hiked about 3.5 miles up river. This took...More

I could not make it all the way to "wall street" though I wanted to, because of waist high water. I would do this trail over and over though, just loved it.
