The Narrows is a great way to experience amazing canyon scenery without any abseiling or climbing. The easiest alternative, the bottoms up hike, starts at the end of the wide main canyon. If you take this hike you may walk as far and as deep...More

The narrows was an awesome experience. The trail was not hard at all. We did not have water shoes or walking sticks and we did just fine . The hike is through all rocks and water. Definitely something worth doing !

Loved every moment of this moderate hike. It was great wading through the Virgin River's cool, clear water to see such incredible views of nature!

Hi - do you mean how deep are the waters at the start of the hike? if that's your question, the waters are not even knee height at the start. Some places almost ankle height.
