The drivers were polite. Sometimes they offered a narrative and sometimes they tell you to stop talking. Since I had to use the shuttle system, I really don't have much to say.

In mid September, the shuttles were always full to capacity and standing room only. We were encouraged to act like sardines and shove all the way to the back. I have no idea why they don't have a back door for easier access. No one...More

The Zion shuttle is so convenient and accessible, you'll figure it out quickly and use it to get just about everywhere. It was very heavily used & worked like clockwork and we appreciated chatting with others from all over the world. The pre-recorded narrated rides...More

Runs every 10-15 minutes and can be picked up at a number of points in the park. It doesn't cost anything to ride the shuttle once you have paid to enter the park

The shuttles in mid September are still busy but the lines are short. The drivers were knowledgeable, courteous, and very congenial. Rarely were we in an SRO situation and if so, only briefly. The sights are truly beautiful. The drivers pointed out both features of...More

This is the only way to access the main canyon (unless you are staying in the Lodge). The bus is regular and efficient. Note during the holiday weekend the queue at the visitor center was over 2 hours by late morning/ noon.

There are 9 stops on the shuttle. None of these could be considered overlooks. The shuttle runs thru the valley with mountains rising on either side. You are down low. There is, however, a stunning drive, in your... More

Like they said, it's about an hour to hour and half. But you will definitely want to get off at the stops to look around and the next shuttle isn't far behind.
