This is the best hike in the park, except for the crowds of people. Not for the faint of heart, the trail is steep and once beyond the canyon after the back to back switchbacks shade is scarce. The most dangerous part of the hike...More

Love love love this hike! We just got back and all I can say is WOW. We missed the first in-park bus, but caught the 6:20 am one. We had mostly shade until we got to Scout's Landing and it wasn't too hot. We started...More

JMJ You'll learn why this point in the Park is called Angel's Landing when you see it. Who else but the angels can reach the top? Great names like that fill this National Park with warmth and charm, history, and imagination. Even if you can't...More

This was a spectacular hike and a little more difficult than I had expected. Granted it was a very hot day and way too many people (that shouldn't be) were on the trail. It can be quite dangerous- so hang on to the chains!

Great hike with spectacular views. Tough in the heat. Take a lot of water. Take breaks. Enjoyed it all.

This is a challenging hike but if you can muster some mental on physical muscle to finish it ... it will be well worth it!

Awesome hike with last segment not for people afraid of heights, but still worth the climb to that point. Go early while it's shady and not as busy

Amazing hike with amazing views. Def get out and start early though (like 630-7am) you beat the crowd and the heat. And the biggest plus is you get to enjoy the scenery and views without the crowd. Otherwise you be stuck in traffic on the...More

No but certainly helpful until you get to the chains. Then they are in the way.
