The trail is an easy walk along a mostly paved surface, with little elevation change. It ends at the start of the Narrows trail, which was closed by the Park Service at the time because the current was too strong. The scenery along the Virgin...More

This trail is good for all skill sets and abilities. Very tropical looking even though you are in a desert region. Lots of Columbine flowers and the flowing rivers makes it all beautiful.

This hike is not too difficult and good for adults and kids. It follows the Virgin River up to the Narrows. Stop along the way to get feet wet or toss a stone. Serious hikers will want to continue into the narrows. Water was too...More

Was able to manage this despite health. I carry oxygen and this was a nice paved trail for me. was able to manage about 3/4 of a mile. This would be good for just about anyone. Saw animals and small lizard like creatures

Visited the Wednesday after Easter, beautiful scenery, lots of places to stop and play by the river and picnic. Trail easy enough for any activity level. Crowds were significant on a weekday, probably crazy busy on a weekend.

The Narrows were closed due to the Virgin River's high flow rate during our visit in March 2017, so we had to settle for the path the serves as the entry to the more iconic and popular hike. It's easy, paved and most of it...More

Only to the Narrows. That is a wet hike.... and cold. It's at the end of the trail and up the Virgin River.
