Kolob Canyon is the northwest corner of Zion National Park, with its own access point. Much smaller than the main part of Zion, it seems to be much lesser known, but is every bit as spectacular. While the canyon walls in Zion Canyon seem to...More

Kolob Canyons road is located in the northwest part of Zion park. There are not nearly as many visitors in this section, but the scenery is still awesome. The five mile drive offers many viewpoints to enjoy impressive canyons, red rocks and forests. There is...More

The spectacular drive up Kolobs Canyon is only 5 miles long (each way) so cruise slowly and use every turnout. Once you stop - and now the driver can look around too -- beauty is in all directions. The scenery is spectacular in both directions,...More

A short drive to reach the overlook of this beautiful canyon area and not the crowds of the main part of Zion makes this a dream come true. It's a well maintained paved road with spots to pull over, gaze and take pictures. Clean vault...More

This is a nice winding road up to an overlook. There were no crowds. The Kolob Canyon is beautiful and amazing! Well worth the drive.

My favorite part of this drive is plenty of places to pull over for photos. Went early in the morning weekday, so very little traffic. Great views.

Yes you could use the 5 Mile Road with your RV. At the end you have plenty of space to turn around. It's a dead end road. But there's no Lake at all... :)
