Read reviews so went here first thing. Took first bus up from visitor center at 7AM. One other group on the trail on way up. Too early for sunshine but was very peaceful with the rushing water end of April and the birds singing. Would like to do again when later in the day, warmer and hike into the narrows

We hiked this with my dad, who uses a cane and it was perfect for him. He was able to experience a hike in Zion, without hurting or wearing himself out. We saw a ton of squirrels which were so cute and added to the enjoyment of the hike. There were also a lot of shady areas to rest in.... More

mostly paved and easy to walk. lots of areas for my two boys (ages 7 and 9) to climb and explore. Could walk down closer to the river and explore there as well before continuing on the trail. Made it to the start of the Narrows before turning back to catch the bus. A nice area to try to skip... More

This was a nice little walk along the path of the flowing river. The water was hella cold but great to stroll with the family or even a special friend. Unfortunately the narrows at the top were closed so we only got to enjoy a partial hike... But it was still awesome!!

The Riverside Walk starts at the Temple of Sinawava and is also referred to as the Gateway to the Narrows - the popular trek which makes way up stream directly through the river. During our visit to Zion NP, the Narrows Trail was closed due to water levels being too high. However, the Riverside Walk remained open. This is a... More

Adventured along the Riverside Walk - it was extremely busy at the visitor centre to catch the bus - we arrived at the park at around 1pm - would recommend going later in the day to avoid the crowds. Traveled on the bus up to the Temple of Sinawava and started along the trail. Suitable for all ages and abilities... More

Really cool. Leads up to the narrows. The water was too cold in March for us to go all the easy up through narrows but you can rent waivers and wetsuits in town if you want. Is handicap access but signs on the second half say it is to sandy or some steep grades making traction bad. Tough mom in... More

The path is paved for the complete distance and although that may seem unnatural I think it was done to prevent erosion. It is a very easy walk and wheelchair accessible for part of the way. As you walk the canyon narrows and the walls soar above you. You are in shade for much of the walk so it is... More

Easy walk along river with gorgeous scenery on way to the narrows. Places for kids to get off trail and play in the river.

Taking the riverside walk is the last step in your journey while taking the scenic drive. We could not walk the whole 16 miles because we are not so young anymore but we wish we did. It was a bit cold and there was some ice on the ground so we had to be extremely careful but we did enjoy... More
