Wasn't sure it would be measure up the main Zion Canyon, but it was. Only 5 miles, and easy access from I-15. The huge, red finger canyons are beautiful. Great views everywhere along the road, and a nice short hike to a fabulous lookout at...More

This is a beautiful view off from I15. Take exit 42 and head up the winding road to see beautiful views of Kolob Canyon and take a few minutes to enjoy the view from the turn around.

Well worth a stop. Not quite as grand as the main section of Zion, but gorgeous none the less. We did not hike...but took the 5 mile drive. We were lucky...very few others were around in December.

This park is in the west side of Zion National Park and not everyone goes there. Avoid the crowds at the main park and go here if you like it a little quieter. It is freeway close - right off I-15. Takes a little while...More

Few would take the time and effort to visit this section. So pretty quiet in comparison. Many nice trials and spots.

I loved the hiking and views in this less-travelled, quieter part of Zion. Taylor Creek was a fabulous hike. I hit the trail around 7:30 am and saw no one at all until I was heading back to the car- and then passed only a...More

It's an 8 or so mile hike from the trailhead, which is a few miles from the park entrance. It's pretty much a full day to see Kolob Arch.

There's a visitors center at the entrance to Kolob Canyon where you're supposed to pay a fee if you don't have an annual pass.
