Two fellows at the hotel told us about the easy access trail to Observation Point. Since I have a problem with heights, I was all ears. It was very easy to find the trailhead. Just google East Mesa Trailhead. There are several overlooks along the...More

we just got back from this 8 mile round trip hike. Keep in mind it does have 2000 feet of steep climbing. Actually, if you are an east coast hiker, it won't seem steep as it has a ton of switchbacks which made it easy...More

Though challenging, this hike is totally doable (especially if you are athletic). The views are astounding and the trail (though well maintained) is not nearly as crowded as Angel's Landing. You can do this when the weather is right in your sneakers, but like with...More

Not nearly as difficult as we were led to believe. The trail is quite cool. If you have a severe fear of heights you might not enjoy it though.

Astonishing view and a very good workout. Our fellow hikers were as diverse and interesting as the landscape.

Overlooked due to Angels Landing and the Narrows, but this hike is fantastic. While strenuous, the trail provides a wide variety of scenery before culminating in a wonderful view at Observation Point. It has many spots ideal for short rests while you make your way...More

At the shuttle drop off...hike a bit and you can turn to go to weeping rock, or continue to observation point.
