This review is for Echo Canyon, which is on the trail to Observation Point - about half-way up (approximately 4 miles roundtrip). I thought this was a hard hike, but worth seeing the gorgeous Echo Canyon. This is a great turn around point for people...More

This is a great hike that rightfully deserves its popularity and can stand alongside two of the hikes I have done from Nat Geo's list of the Best 25 Hikes in the World. I do agree with the naysayers, however, to the extent that the...More

You will definitely feel you have achieved something when you have done this hike. It is quite a puff up, but the going is good and very manageable, the view from the top is incredible and it is a joy coming down. Go and do...More

Somewhat strenuous, 8 mile round trip, 2,300' climb. Has some areas with steep drop offs along the trail, but the trail is mostly paved and wide, so nothing technically challenging. Just watch your footing. It includes a nice section along a slotted canyon with good...More

Excellent scenery a stiff hike up the mountain but our guide Wally from Wildlands was excellent ,you need a reasonable level of fitness , and there are some steep drops , but so worth it when you get there

A relatively easy trek to the viewing point. I went last weekend with a party of 5. One member of our group was nearly 80, she took her time but made it just fine. A little rain was falling bud that did not prevent us...More

Totally pleasant stroll even in cold December and the views at the end are mind blowing. The ice is the only really scary part.

I would only do one. Observation Point is behind, and much higher up than Angel's Landing. A more commanding view. Observation Point will take at least 6 hours round trip. Angels Landing is a bit shorter.

At the shuttle drop off...hike a bit and you can turn to go to weeping rock, or continue to observation point.
