I'm obviously going to be positively biased about the hike (re: the title) but overall it was actually a great easy hike to start our trip in Zion off. My now fiancé was in a walking boot, which turned the easy hike into a little bit of a difficult one, but he made it just fine, no precarious crossings for... More

This hike reminded me of a (very) mini Angel's Landing. The climb is somewhat steep, and there are plenty of narrow portions with opportunities to fall off the side of a cliff. It's fairly safe though and appropriate for children if they're adhering to standard hiking protocol and being watched by an adult. The hike is short, and the view... More

I did this trail in December of 2014 with my wife, very easy trail but two years later we brought our toddler with us on this hike. The trail starts off steep but it eventually levels out and most of the trail can be done by the entire family. Since it was our first time with our toddler last December,... More

Not only is the view along the way AND the ultimate view at the end of the hike breath-taking, the Overlook Trail is loads of fun! It takes longer than 30 min. to hike though because you'll want to stop and take so many pictures!

Mileage wise, this hiking is not very long. However, there is some uneven and very narrow portions of the hike. I saw some small kids doing it, and I think that is fine. However, be advised that there are some portions without guard rails that have some steep dropoffs. If you are going with children, be sure to keep an... More

We traveled here through the tunnel from Zion. When you exit the tunnel there is a parking lot immediately on your right that holds 10 cars. If you travel a little further there is a parking lot on your left that holds 6 cars. Chances are they will both be filled. Drive up a little bit and do a u-... More

This was a beautiful hike, but not for the faint of heart as it is mostly uphill but the view going up and at the top are breathtaking. We also saw some horned goats. Definitely worth the climb...

We entered the park from the east, and the trailhead is about halfway to the visitor center, on the right side. This made it easy to access. While it would be harder coming from Springdale, it might still be worth it. This is a fabulous hike. I did not find it scary at all - and I saw both seniors... More

Great hike! Easy and enjoyable. Rewarding views at the end. Saw several baby big horn sheep along the trail. Parking was the only difficult part. Very few parking spots, but we were able to find a spot along the road to parallel park and walk to the trailhead. Zion in spring is the best!
