This is a nice paved trail that runs along the river. It is fairly level and easily accessible for wheelchair or handicap use. The paved area is also very wide, so it doesn't feel crowded. Very nice walk.

We rode the shuttle to the visitors center and picked up the trail there. It winds through campgrounds at first and then by the Virgin River. There are several river access points along the way if you want to get right down by the river. As you near the end of this trail, you need to look downstream for the... More

Nice trail leaving the Zion visitor center. Follows a stream that goes up the canyon. Trail is flat and easy to walk. Bikes are allowed and can be crowded. About 3 mile round trip.

We picked up this trail one morning somewhere between canyon junction and Springdale. We just hiked along discovering one nice view after another. It was amazing that so many really scenic spots are available beyond the ones that get all the rave reviews. I highly recommend giving yourself time to discover them! We were all allalone, as most were racing... More

This is a nice, flat, easy trail for anyone who has neither the time nor the inclination to do an bonafide hike. It's about 3 miles round trip and it's the one trail where leashed dogs are welcome. A couple of bridges make it a little more interesting than just a paved walk. I have done this walk with small... More

The views from this trail are deep in the canyon and are beautiful. The trail runs along a small creek and has wildlife around it, so keep your pets close by if you are walking with them. Towards the end of this trail you can cross over and there are clean restrooms and drinking water. The views from here will... More

A simple leveled, paved trail that we enjoyed with our toddler son. Allowed him to run around a little rather than being in a baby carrier like he was on most other trails. The views are great. You can walk up to the river, and get great views of many of the peaks.

I chose this walk because I had my two dogs with me and it's the only dog friendly trail. It's paved and peaceful. There's a little spot where we stopped and the dogs swam in the water. I wasn't even planning on doing the entire 3.5 miles but it flew by so we did completed it all.

This is a nice paved trail that follows the river from the Visitor's Center, stop 1 on the shuttle, to Canyon Junction, stop 3 on the shuttle. There is a connecting trail at stop 2 so you can visit the museum and see the movie if you wish. A lot of the trail is not in the shade so may... More

Beautiful easy hike along the river with shuttle connections along the route. We found parking near the camp ground.
