Hiked this “moderate” bad boy while my more adventurous friends tackled angels landing. It was absolutely on the tougher side of moderate, given it was a very hot day, the trail is absolutely “desert”, and shade is very few and far between. You gain some...More

We went on a ranger lead hike on Watchman’s Hike and learned a lot from the ranger! Doing this early in the morning is a good idea because it got warm as we were coming down. Views are beautiful and you can enjoy the hike...More

Beautiful at every turn, all the way up from the riverside path at the beginning to the steeper climb further on. Peaceful. Less traveled than many Zion trails, but not so sparsely traveled that I felt uncomfortable being a solo hiker. Wide variety of plants:...More

This is an awesome little hike that begins right near the Visitors Center. It's a 2 mile loop, well maintained and not very heavily trafficked. We didn't see many people at all, compared to some of the other hikes in the park. It has some...More

Short hike with some nice views. We've heard it's at its best with the sunset light, but unfortunatly it was a bit covered when we did it. It's pleasant and not busy at all (we didn't meet anyone)

Anyone can do it but there are some narrow sections with drop offs. If you don't like exposure it may not be for you.

The view from this trail, and especially from the top, are lovely. The walk through the fields to get to the part that climbs is beautiful. The climb is easy because of the switchbacks - not steep at all, and no climbing over big rocks...More

My wife and I did a portion of this trail on our first day at Zion. The trail is not difficult though there are some moderate dropoffs. Other hikers mentioned seeing a rattlesnake along the trail. We enjoyed the views along the way. It is...More

We did this hike on a Sunday when the line for the shuttle was super long. You do not have to take the shuttle as the trail head is a short walk from the visitors center. We did 2 "easy" hikes & 1 other "moderate"....More

Best friends trip. Such a great hike, moderate according to the park ranger. We had so much fun and the views were stunning. An absolute must when you go to Zion.
