Don't think there is anything special about this. Further, it is best to go up to the TOP of the mountain to be able to get a better view. But only if you have the time.

The drizzle increased speed when we were at the viewing platform of the sea. We were not able to see the two colors of the sea water. Sun light is critical for visitors to appreciate the scenery.

Yinyang Sea was part of our bus tour on a day trip that included Jiufen and the Golden Waterfall right near the sea. Its alluring golden yellow water contrasted with sea blue makes a stunning photo op.
