No better place to watch the Blue Angels practice, as well as, the official weekend that is the “Blue Angels Airshow”. Beautiful beaches, great tours of Fort Pickens and friendly Park Rangers. Hats off for the clean camp sites and bathrooms too.

This is an excellent place to see the gulf in its most preserved state. Soft white sand and beautiful water view . A must for nature lovers

Gulf Island National Seashore was breathtaking. The white sandy dunes and beaches were amazing. Saw beautiful landscaping and wildlife. An afternoon thunderstorm cut our trip short, but we intend to visit again.

I have never felt sand so soft! Absolutely beautiful, not crowded at all. Just pick your piece of beach for the day. Nice public facilities.

This is one of my favorite drives. The beaches are absolutely beautiful. You never get tired of the view. There is always people out on the beaches. It takes about 20-30 minutes to drive because of the low speed limit, but it is worth it....More

A little west of Destin is Gulf Islands National Seashore. It is definitely secluded, and the sand is soft and white. Because there are picnic shelters and bathrooms, you could spend a day here if you wanted to. I was... More
