This beach was a bit of disappointment, because of the quality of the water. A part of the beach is covered with nice orange-colored sand, the other part is a big stone formation with natural pools. However, all locations had turbid water with seaweed collected...More

We went here an afternoon, the beach was at a really nice location with not too many people being there. However watch out, in the water it's rocky and we hurt our feet when trying to get deeper.

Gnejna Bay is located north west of the island, approximately 10km from the centre of Mellieha, 2km from the village of Mgarr; the #Radisson Golden Sands is just over 6km. This is a rural area, being more remote the beaches here are quieter, it is...More

We have visited this beach a couple of times and enjoyed the golden sands, clear water and jumping off the rocks into the sea. The lads doing the sunbeds were fab. The food was good and reasonably priced.

The beach isn't as clean as one would think being in Malta. It had a lot of seaweed. You can rent sun beds for 4 euros and an umbrella for another 4 euros. There are also some water activities. This beach is much less crowded...More

In comparison to Golden and Riviera Bay which are very near, Gnejna Bay is not that occupied by people. However it has very nice surroundings and the food offered here is very tasty. We totally recommend it.

Less crowdy thsn Ghajn Tuffieha and better parking lot. Some nice snorkeling spots and very clear water.

Fine sand beach but difficult stones in the water, so not suitable for swimming, not even for adults. Locals around. Busy parking place and a bit rustic beach.

The local beach for me, and it is really pretty. Unfortunately, the place is ruined by the Maltese obsession with driving absolutely everywhere, insanely bad public transport connection, utterly filthy toilets and the usual large amount of trash everywhere.

This is a lovely Bay on which to spend a nice winter afternoon with the kids playing on the sandy beach. The sand changes to pebbles once you set foot in the sea, so it is not very nice for swimming!
