Visited here briefly from up the top. Was very busy. Didn't have time to do a boat ride unfortunately but was a must see.

Bus tours or boat tours are available. A sunny day is preferred. Nature can do some awesome things with time, wind, and water.

Beautiful views. It is a little bit out of the way but I used Taxify/ecabs and it was well worth the taxi trip. Just make sure to have them drop you off at the Panorama stop on the top of hill, otherwise you will have...More

Mid morning is the best time to view the Blue Grotto and other caves, as the sun shines straight into them. Paid 8 euros for an adult ticket, jumped into the tiny boat (life jackets are provided and mandatory to wear) and off we chugged...More

East to find, little to no wait and fantastic view! Take it as an extra to the Hagar Qim & Mnajdra temples, since they are just next door.

We were quite happy that we decided to go on the boat trip. It was beautiful to see the cliffs from a different angle - from the sea. And the caves were very nice indeed. For us it was of very good length, one could...More

We had family visiting from the UK so we decided to do some sight seeing. We hadn't got round to this since moving to Malta in June. Firstly, the grumpiest lady was at the ticket booth, who provided absolutely no information at all..she was not...More

I visited here on a whim and was very pleased I did so. The waters of Malta are the cleanest in the Mediterranean making the water so clear you can see meters down. The cliffs of Malta a littered with caves. A visit to the...More

Visited on a hot, sunny weekend morning. Car/coach park was manic, queues were long. There's no finesse to the trip; you're shepherded onto a small boat, given about a 20 minute ride with virtually no commentary and then herded off again. The views were good...More

The Blue Grotto is located on the southern coast of Malta, west of Wied iz-Zurrieq facing the little deserted islet of Filfla. It was not extremely busy when we went but I hear it can be during summer. To enjoy the caves at their best,...More

Do not book- we have not actually been there when the sea was calm enough for the boats to go - besides it is so short a trip that you would not have to wait long unless you are there at the time of coach trips.I am not so... More
