On a sunny day this beach is about as good as it gets anywhere. Plenty of golden sand with a gentle introduction to the water makes it a lovely and safe spot for paddling; there are plenty of spots to launch boats, kayaks etc and...More

Visited for the first time, clean and tidy beach. Lots of people doing water sports. Quaint village.

Lovely clean beach with lots of space and a beach cafe. At low high a lot of rocks and seaweed exposed however plenty of sand left to play on. RNLI lifeguards on duty as well with free public toilets at far end near watersports place.

Elie is absolutely beautiful. The village is immaculate and very picturesque. The beach is simply stunning. The only thing marring our visit was the bad manners and total arrogance of the chap who seemed to be in charge of the water sports. Very disappointing.

The highlight of any good Scottish fishing village is a lovely beach and/or port, and Elie beach doesn't disappoint. Clean, beautiful, relaxing and peaceful. It has a sailing club and boating facilities.

Elie beach has to be one of the most magical places we've visited. Clean, clear water and deep sands when the tide is out. When we were there we had the Beach cafe at one end for a morning coffee and then the Harbour cafe...More

We just spent a couple days in Elie and once again had a fabulous time, this beach is perfect for everyone, golden sand and clear water, also when the tide is out there are plenty of rock pools for kids to look for crabs in.

Such a good beach to walk along. Beach is so clean and there is plenty to look at. Then have a coffee at the Ship Inn. Lovely day out.
