Cape Campbell Lighthouse is becoming more well-known because it was the setting for the movie Between the Oceans. After reading the book, I am anxious to see the movie, and while visiting NZ, we learned we would be close, so we HAD to make the drive over. Unfortunately google maps did not show that the last 10 km of road... More

The first night we stayed in a beautiful lodge that had been recently renovated. The hike to the beach was over rolling hills. And followed by similar topography over the next few days. The accommodation was spectacular (just been redone for and movie) and the area is stunning. So much to do for the young and the old. I would... More

A lovely welcome on arrival, comfy beds at all the accommodations, Great to be able to relax and self cater. Enjoyed the Cape Campbell wine too. The farmland scenery contrasted beautifully with that of the coast. The weather were laid on for us. Would highly recommend this walk! Definitely want to come back Thank you

This was a great walk every day and was a challenge to the leg muscles going up and down, but worth it if you have done some work before. The views were great, the accommodation fantastic and loved everything at the places to stay. brilliant not having to carry your food and clothes etc. Would happily recommend it to anyone,... More

Did this in Oct 2010, fabulous trip and spectacular scenery. Collected field mushrooms and fresh paua along the way. Relatively easy walking although the prevailing wind can be strong at times. Can be done fully catered or BYO and bags will be transferred each day if you wish.
