Beautiful and picturess fortress. The view from the fortress is outstanding. Interesting main exhibition. Unfrotunately, everything to see, except main exhibition, has descriptions only in German so it is hard for somebody not knowing the language to learn more about the history of the fortress.
This place is truly beautiful, very vast, too. The fortress has many buildings, a nice restaurant, colourful gardens, and apparantly is stunning during Christmas markets.

The festung Koenigstein is a fortress built upon a huge rock. From the top you can see the Czech republic and Poland. The castle itself is very impressive as well. I recommend the trip
