Lift not working
Jul 2021 • Family
Lift from Morrison’s car park to gain access to the town was not operational.
I saw a couple with a child in a wheelchair unable to access the centre because of the lift not working. My elderly dad had to walk up and down the steps because it was not working.

Huge shopping centre and multi storey car park
Sep 2020
For some reason I thought Cwmbran was a little place. I was greatly surprised to find a big shopping centre! Lots of big shops and a great new cafe where the Works (I believe) used to be with a lovely outside area to enjoy the September heatwave. Other cafes too but this positioned in the square had the edge.

Improve social distancing markings
Aug 2020 • Solo
Really disappointed with markings for social distances, not enough and clearly not large enough as hardly anyone was adhering to it.

Security Cwmbran Shopping
Mar 2020
I Have Qualification For Security, And Must Advise That What Passes For Security In Cwmbran Is Abysmal, One Individual In Particular Is RUDE And Extremley ARROGANT, This Reflects Badly On The Security Industry And Causes More Problems For Police To Deal With.

Now this is a difficult one.
Feb 2020 • Couples
If you had asked me about Cwmbran Shopping Centre maybe 10 years ago or eve 5 years ago I would have said its brilliant.
But is it's over and finished.
Shops are leaving and its fast becoming a centre with empty shops, greasy little cafes and charity shops.

Now not worth visiting.

Town getting smaller
Jan 2020
Sadly Cwmbran Town Centre is getting smaller day by day. Since Marks and Spencer closed, there is no reason to just pop in have a browse and a coffee. Tiger has shut down, Bon Marche, T Reds, amongst other smaller ones. David Evans is ruined since being taken over by the sports guy. The coffee shop is dark and dingy. Warrens bakery that took over a decent coffee shop (Patisserie Valerie) is now awful, the coffee didn’t come until I asked for it and it’s all youngsters serving nothing wrong with that but they just haven’t got the welcome factor. Starbucks is dingy too and some of their aprons looked like they had kept the same ones on for days, grubby and stained.
Before long it won’t be worth popping in, as what on earth is going to go in the large empty stores, when most shops are already struggling. Maybe it’s the high rates, but it’s very sad. I’m sure a lot of older people are saddened by it.

Good place pity about the parking.
Oct 2019
The shopping centre has lots of good shops. Douglas Willis Butchers is one of my favorites. Costas has a good place to people watch and I do like their coffee.

Free parking, easy to find, and lots of shops
Dec 2019
If nearby, worth a visit. Parking is free, and there are lots of shops in the centre. Places to eat and drink coffee too.
