Great cafe, lovely arts displayed
May 2019 • Family
This is a great place to relax during shopping trips. They have the best range of treats, from cakes to pastries and pies, and hot or cold drinks. Love the proper teapots and cups/saucers!
The environment has atmosphere from its past as a historic house, and from the lovely staff, and its well worth browsing the exhibits, in the main entrance and back rooms too.

Vegetarian Delights...
Jan 2019 • Family
My daughter visits regularly to attend the holiday art activities, which she loves and are very good value for money.
The staff are fabulous, especially in the cafe, which is expensive but has a wonderful array of homemade cakes and sweet yummies.
This month, my daughter celebrated her 6th birthday day at LGAC, hosting a mask-making party, which was a huge success! Everything was excellent, although I did find myself far more involved and running around a lot more than I had intended, as there was only one member of staff in the room with the 13 girls!

Christmas Art Classes
Jan 2019 • Family
The art classes attended by the child I care for are very much enjoyed, she gets so much from attending like meeting new friends, learning new skills and when she has something she has made & is proud of at the end does wonders for her self esteem.
The staff are absolutely fab, great with the children even when they can be a bit of handful and the cafe is also very good with friendly staff

Small but quality work on show
Dec 2018 • Couples
Visited on a Monday during the seasonal break. As most people say- the building is small but it has a shop area & cafe as well as 2 exhibition rooms.

Good place to see ceramics & applied art when we visited.

Staff in the cafe were welcoming & there were a lot of people in the cafe enjoying a tea/coffee. Nice to see it busy.

We parked in Morrisons & walked over an adjacent bridge-then the Grange is kind of under the bridge on the left in an area of greenery. Plenty of other parking near by & dedicated disabled parking bays close by next to bus station area.

My favourite Lunch Venue
Dec 2018 • Family
I absolutley adore lunch here. Fresh home cooked food and a healthy variety too. Limited tables so good idea to call ahead and book. Staff are very courteous and friendly. Afternoon teas are especially good

Beautiful place, lovely staff
Oct 2018 • Friends
Exhibition of women's suffrage textiles small but very high quality and every item is worth looking at...quality rather than quantity. Also anothervexhibition of art about WW1 , also interesting and poignant . Craft shop and tea room outstanding.. The people in the tea room were so helpful and friendly. Breath of fresh air! Courses/workshops on offer and reasonably priced. What an asset for Cwmbran.

Impromptu visit
Aug 2018 • Couples
Whilst waiting for the nearby cinema to start paid a quick visit to the Grange. lived in the area for 30 years and this is the first time we've been here! Heard a lot about the place, art, crafts etc which we both enjoy. Can't think why we left it so long.
Lovely building with lots to look at. Apparently local top artists display their wares every 6 weeks or so.
The little cafe was a pleasure, lovely cakes and pastries to indulge yourself. Couple of tables outside if it's warm.
Definitely come again soon.

Have visited frequently and have yet to see anything remotely interesting in the Gallery. I have also generally been the only visitor.
Clearly this place is aiming to hit an audience that does not include me, and whoever it IS hasn’t found the place yet.
There is a small pleasant cafe which does display local art and which is well used.
Might be better to give the cafe the larger space.

Easy access from Cwmbran town centre, in quiet setting nestling away from daily hubhub. Ideal for coffee or light lunch, Usually an interesting art, photographic or craft exhibition to enjoy and a gift shop selling unique items great items for the unusual present
