Enough shade, loungers to hire, good value bar right on the beach, calm waters and view of super yachts - what more can you want? Nice beach and sun fitted as standard.

Most of the beaches in Antigua are in the western / south western coast. (Caribbean Sea ....& beautiful !). But if you're spending the day / staying on eastern (SE) side, its Atlantic Ocean. So can be huge crashing waves (ex. @ beautiful Half Moon Bay). So..... after viewing Half Moon, we headed to Galleon Beach. Calm. Small. Quiet. Lots... More

The perfect Caribbean beach, with well-placed palm trees to shelter under. Unfortunately a bunch of rude Italians stole our place whilst we were swimming, but we just moved elsewhere to keep our cool. Water is silky smooth and warm and a wonderful turquoise colour. There's also a nice beach bar (but extremely expensive).

Easy to get here by the water taxi from outside the Copper and Lumber Store at English Harbour...takes about 5 minutes. This is a quiet laid back, relaxing beach, more Robinson Crusoe than Ibiza. The Cheeky Marlin serves a fairly limited range if drinks....but the ice is cold and the rum is tasty, so what's more to want.

Been here 3 times and every time- we have unfortunately been treated very rudely by the two owners. The food isn't overly great and service is very slow. I wouldn't go back and spend any money here, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. Fortunately there are plenty of other good bars, cafes and restaurants around!

Got the water taxi from English Harbour, very easy. Good little beach and there was some snorkelling a short swim away. Asked if we could use the beds chairs of the snack bar in return for lunch. Again easy. Lunch was good as far as it can be with a burger and the beers went down well. Actually, I enjoyed... More

We enjoyed Galleon Beach. There are only about 5 parking spots, so that could be a concern. However, the beach was quiet, the water was warm, and there were fish to view when snorkeling. You have to go way over to the left, beyond the buildings, to see anything.

I loved this place...... Firstly the Cheeky Marlin is perfect. It has a great vibe and decor and the most amazing food, all of which is served up in an upmarket beach shack environment and with a bit of Amy Winehouse playing in the background I could have gone there every day. Rachel who owns the place is great, really... More

This is actually a hotel beach, but for those sailing and are anchored out in Galleon Bay will have a nice and relaxing time at the beach!!

Ordinary folk are really discouraged from going to this beach by the way its signed on the drive down The beach itself is lovely but the facilities are minimal The "Cheeky Marlin" is a rip off, some of the worse food our party has had on this island at 'resort' prices Some good snorkling
