Hard to find, but worth it. Went back 2x & saw different marine life each time- squids, puffer fish & so much more.

Great place to snorkel and relax. Find some shade under one of the palapa's and enjoy yourself to the max.

We go up here to snorkel. There is more coral, making it more difficult to walk around. There are fewer places with shade if you plan to spend time there.

Easy to get to by car, taxi, or bus. Palapas available if you get there early enough. Walk right in to the water for some great snorkeling! We saw plenty of catamaran excursions off the shore and we were in the same spot for free! You'll need to bring your own equipment unless you're on a paid excursion.

We had a rental car so we wanted to explore the island's best snorkel spots and this is in my top 3. TONS of sea life!! I saw and swam with multiple schools of squid, swam side by side with a barracuda on several trips to the beach. Also tons of parrot fish, eels, and puffer fish! I recommend to... More

Make sure to arrive early, the small beach and parking lot fill up quickly. Head out to where the catamarans are anchored they feed the fish, so the best viewing density is near them. Beach is very rocky, be careful of your bare feet.

So there is another review for Malmok REEF. In my opinion the REEF here outdoes the beach. The tour boats (Jolly Rogers, Blue Melody, Black Pearl and others) all have a stop in some part of the beach (usually the north side by Boca Catalina). You can experience the same snorkeling as them without the cost if the boat part... More

Not much beach area but great for snorkeling along the rocks. Lots of fish to see, the water is clear and it's fairly calm.
