This is a great beach for families that offers some palapas for shade. You can also rent large umbrellas for shade. The sand and water are great. The snorkeling is good but you must swim out a bit. After getting away from the beach, there...More

We visited Arashi beach as a port adventure from a Disney cruise. While the beach itself is very nice and the water is beautiful, you need to remember that Aruba is a volcanic island and there are a ton of rocks beneath the water at...More

This area was recommended for snorkeling! My husband ans daughter turn into fish when they get into the water. They said it was beautiful and they saw lots of creatures. I am very disappointed in our lack of respect people do not have for nature....More

Arashi is a smaller beach with chairs and umbrellas for rent. We brought our own snorkel gear and saw a good variety of fish, eel, stingray, and more. The entrance to the water is a little steep and rock in some places. There were a...More

Arashi beach is just a short drive north of the hustle and bustle of the high-rise area. We found it early on during our vacation while touring the island, and it became our favorite beach for a day of relaxing in the sun. This beach...More

This was a nice traditional beach. The snorkeling was ok here but there are better spots. This beach is more for relaxing, catching some rays, and escaping everything else.

Located near the northern tip of the island, this beach is a fantastic place to spend the day. Plenty of palapas offer some shade. Parking lot on the premises. Bus stop as well allow you to get there when traveling "carless". Recently they added a...More

If you want to stay away from high rise tourist hell beaches, this is a good option. Clean sand and surroundings. Not crowded, easy to find good spot. Shallow water for kids. Nice waves. On the left side some exellent snorkeling areas, same area that...More

Snorkeling was much better at neighboring Boca Catalina. Bring water shoes to both... very rocky. My snorkel mask broke so had to rent from the little shop on the beach. They charge a whopping $30! Only $11 for the day from our resort.

No lockers but it's pretty low key and safe. We put our items under one of the cabana type areas and never had a problem. Not a super touristy area, so usually plenty of spots to spread out. We rented lounge chairs, I think... More
