We actually didn't find it. Not one single sign, showing where the "entrance" was. And the text that we read on different maps and guidebooks said nothing about that this is an area that is only for your own viewing. We thought it was a garden or somewhat attended area which secured the viewing of certain birds.

The sign is gone. Take 10 bus to RUI and Butterfly farm, walk north around the corner and head for the windmill/Diana's Pancakes. The unmarked entrance is across from the windmill. The tower is a short ways down the dirt road. We were there in the early afternoon so of course all the birds were taking their siesta. I imagine... More

This is just a natural area with peace and tranquility. It was a short walk from the RUI hotels and had lots of colorful birds.

I didn't even realize this was a bird sanctuary until i found this TripAdvisor listing... We didn't see a sign or anything - just noticed a 'road' and a viewing platform and decided to check it out. Someone had recently cut back the brush along one side of the waterway, so maybe some maintenance is in progress. The platform provided... More

the Bird Sanctuary is nice and quiet. It is a good spot to watch the local birds. We enjoyed seeing it.

We walked about 5 miles to get to the sanctuary and were disappointed. There are hardly any birds here. There are more lizards than birds! That was fun because we like lizards. The most interesting bird part was that there was a nest of burrowing owls and we got to see the parents bringing food to them.

This was our biggest disappointment on Aruba. It is neglected and run down. There is not even a sign directing you to this "so called attraction"! We saw far better birds at the entrance to the Butterfly Farm. Give this a miss it seriously is not worth the effort.

I'm a bird watcher so this attraction was of major importance to me. The entrance is not marked and locals don't seem to know much about it; in fact many locals scoffed at the idea of bird-watching. Once we found the spot and walked the dirt path to the overlook, it was roped off due to disrepair. We climbed the... More

We visited Bubali Bird sanctuary on June 20, '16. This place doesn't appear to be very popular, even hotel concierge didn't know about it. It was really a chore to locate it as we passed by and missed it. There is NO sign directing to this place. The observation tower is good(about 40 steps to climb). We visited at around... More

We had a really good visit the first time there, and saw a wonderful variety of waterfowl, including a Purple Gallinule! Went two other times and didn't see many birds, but did see a "Golden" Warbler, a variation of the Yellow Warbler we see in Ohio!
