Sorry for the clickbait title. But, Jos at Vela is the best instructor on the island. I was most impressed with his clear teaching style. He has a plan to GET YOU UP ON THE BOARD. I was riding by THREE HOURS! That is insane!...More

We rented kayaks and a paddleboard from them this a few times this week. Prices are very reasonable and equipment was in good shape for rentals. The wind was crazy this week but not their fault.

I can't say enough good things about Vela if you're looking to kiteboard. Josh was the main guy - crystal clear instructions and brief short demos to help me get the concept. Went from just learning to kite upwind to doing transitions and a few...More

We will be in Aruba on a cruise stop on Nov. 10 from 8 AM to 10 PM is there anyway we could book equipment for the afternoon. We have done Vela windsurf vacations before in Hawaii, Dominican republic, and Aruba, etc and like the equipment you have. How much do you charge per hour to rent equipment?

Found a posting on their website that says $50 for 2 hours, $80 for all day (gear has to be in by 5 PM). I agree, their JP gear is awesome!
