This is a great beach, but in the hotel district, can be very crowded. Most hotels have their boundaries and you cannot go beyond those borders. If you go down past the hotels, you can have a stretch of beach where there are hardly any...More

Powdery soft sand, and the most amazing calm, clear, turquoise ocean. I bring my float and can simply float for hours. Nothing is more relaxing . The beach is great for walking too, either right along the water or on the beach path - which...More

This is tropical paradise. I walked the entire beach. The sand is powder white and so soft. Water was calm and tranquil. Each hotel has chairs and/or cabanas. There were several sail boats, rafts and watersports. The temperature of water in May was perfect. I...More

We stayed on Palm Beach in the Barcelo and the sand and water were amazing. I walked the beach each morning and covered all of Palm Beach. I found the hotels on the outer edges had coarser sand with lots of shell bits and pebbles,...More

We love the wide white sand beaches... the beautiful blue water... the sidewalk that goes the length of the hotel area on the beach.... the abundant water sports activities... and all the shopping and restaurant choices.

We visited Palm Beach and found the water to be clear and beautiful. It was calmer here than some other areas of the beach and you could comfortably wade out or swim. Chairs can be rented for 10.00 each . Floats were 5.00. They also...More

This beach is in front of the high-rise hotels, so is very crowded in comparison to Eagle beach. There were many more activities to participate in as well as many more restaurants and shops on this beach or just a couple blocks away.

The turquoise water itself is amazingly beautiful. Unspoiled miles of beach and pristine white sand for swimming, walking, or sunbathing.

Awesome beach with very little waves. The constant breeze allows you to not get overheated and the water is crystal clear.
