This is one of the longest roads in Bermuda. We did parts of it to get to different places. One favorite part was the bus ride between crystal caves and spittal pond and then walking along the road for some half hour.

There is nothing that really stood out about the road itself---it is the scenic areas one can access along it. I took a motor scooter rental around much of the island, and South Road was the access to many of the outstanding beaches in Bermuda....More

Clearly this road skirts along the southern edge of the island. It has recently been resurfaced at the eastern end so is much better for mopeds now than it was a few years back fewer potholes. For the most part it is quite wide and...More

Didn't brave the moped and took the bus instead. Very good way to see the shoreline along Sandy's and Warwick Parish. Stopped at South Shore Park and experienced some of the most amazing beaches in the world. Must drive along South Road when in Bermuda.
