A lovely place at Christmas

Ringing in the new year at the town hall is an awesome experience. There is so much fun bringing in the new year and experiencing the onion drop.

A very interesting place to drop by for a short visit. One of the town counselors happened to be there and gave us a short history lesson on the place. Very nice!

This is a nice spot for a short visit. There are free restrooms (always a plus), a tourist information centre, the town hall (with town crier) and some nice (if pricey) restaurants. At noon each day there is a nice (if a bit hokey) re-enactment of a dunking, such as was done to those guilty of gossip and other minor... More

We sailed to Bermuda on Grandeur of the Seas and posted a separate review on Cruise Critic of the sailing. Upon arrival at Royal Navy Dockyard (King's Wharf) we walked a short distance through the "terminal" to the St. George Ferry Dock. The Dock is currently located next to the America's Cup souvenir kiosk (2017). We had quarters for the... More

The last of reviews of my visit to Bermuda was wonderful. Took the fast Ferry from Dockyard to St. George to visit the World Heritage Center and its activities. The Gombey's and the reenactment of the water ducking for gossipy women was very entertaining. The history of St. George is very informative and a must see on your stay to... More

The town of St. George is a step back in time. It is quaint, quiet, and very walk-able. We spent an overcast day exploring the town, the square, churches and other historic spots in town. There were may little shops where everyone was pleasant and friendly.
