We had a great trip with Lawrence and Brie. They were very accommodating, as sweet as can be, acted as a great tour guide (because we had never been to Bermuda before), and made a great Rum Swizzle :) There were 8 of us on the trip (including an 8 month old) and it could not have been better. We'll... More

We took the escape on August 8 with a family group of 14, age ranges 15 to 80! Everyone had a great time. The boat and Captain Lawrence are fantastic, very professional. It's a great the to do in Bermuda if you've got a larger group

This review is long overdue, and we remembered because we are about to have Captain Lawrence take us out for another afternoon of sailing in a few weeks. (Our trip was Sept, 2014, but that month is no longer available on the drop-down menu.) First of all, he is a charming person, with an amazing family history in Bermuda. (Read... More

We have been coming to Bermuda for over 30 years and have chartered several sailing trips. Escape is the BEST! Captained by Lawrence Trimingham and first mate, Brie, the 65' McGregor is a beautiful vessel made for sailing the waters easily. We were picked up at Tucker's Point around 4PM for a 4 hour sailing, snorkeling, dinner and sunset trip.... More

Captain Lawrence and Cindy gave my family, including my brother and his wife, my husband, and our sons 5 and 2, the experience of a lifetime. We took a 4-hour afternoon sail and it was the highlight of our trip. The boys and my husband and I went out in a dinghy to feed the fish while my brother and... More

A group of 5 couples booked the MacGregor 65 sailboat, Escape, for a two hour sunset cruise. CPT Lawrence and his niece Bree filled our cruise with history and delightful local stories. We had a relaxing and enjoyable time. Being out on Tucker's Point we were far away from the hustle and bustle of King's Wharf and Hamilton. We sailed... More

We awoke on our first day in Bermuda to see the Bermudian Escape moored in front of our room at the Rosewood Tucker's Point Hotel. Captain Lawrence picked our party of six up at the resort dock and we embarked on our 5+ hour trip to St. George harbor, around the east end and terminating next to the ferry landing... More

We spent a few days in Bermuda and this was the highlight of our trip. We booked a five hour tour and there were eleven in our party. We met at Tuckers' inlet for our tour. We sailed the bay at first and Bermuda is absolutely gorgeous from the water. The Escape operators are brothers Lawrence and Eldon and they... More

The Triminghams, one of the original families on Bermuda, are great hosts on their 65 foot boat. They know all the gossip about the mansions perched on the waterfront, and have a solid itinerary for guests. The snorkel spot by Nonsuch Island was nice too.

I chartered a late morning sail aboard the Escape in May for my wife's birthday, and it was a truly exceptional experience. While I do not have my sea legs, my wife and most of her family are avid sailors, and our four-hour sail aboard the Escape was a highlight of our vacation that her family still talks about with...
