We loved the gardens and can tell they were well maintained at some point but likely are suffering from lack of funds. Wish they could revive some parts of it and not let it die. Overall, a great attraction and highly recommended.

Decided to walk from Hamilton Dockyard 6/21. Google maps 1.1miles for some light exercise. Turned out to be double the distance. Walk not recommended. Too dangerous as side streets did not have side walks. In addition it appeared to be closed. No staff to greet...More

This botanical garden is nice but not spectacular place to visit. Didn't have time for the art museum. Nice cafe. Gift shop. A nice change from the beach.

After arriving in Bermuda on a Sunday we were looking for something to do and saw that the Botanical Gardens were open daily until dusk and they served tea at their cafe on Sunday. We took a taxi (60 each way 🙄) only to find...More

We got to the gardens by bus when you first approach it from near the hospital it seems pretty small, but it's bigger than it initially seems. You can also tour the Governor's residence which is in the gardens (the governor doesn't live there).

I was so disappointed with these botanical gardens. I visit the gardens in every place I visit and this was, by far, the worst. I felt like I had walked into an old deserted ghost town. The visitor centre was empty, no tables, chairs, people....More

The gardens are small by international standards but lovely all the same. So peaceful with lovely colour combinations on display. Visit Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art and then take a stroll around the gardens.

We visited during the annual agricultural fair. The fair was sweet and similar to a 4H fair in the states. We were really interested in seeing the 'real Bermuda' flowering and plant life. However, we found the gardens and buildings unkept and in need of...More

We had an excellent volunteer guide give us a walking tour around the various sections of the gardens. Pity the owners (I think the local council) do not appear to appreciate or want to improve this beautiful setting. The gardens were reasonably well kept but...More
