Carlisle Bay is a beautiful stretch of beach. We walked there along the beach from our hotel it's about a 20-30 minute walk. This spot is well known for wrecks and snorkelling. Definitely worth a visit.

Beach was incredible white sand, just beautiful. Everyone we encountered that day were just so kind and polite. There were so many activities you could do and chairs/umbrellas, it was just a beautiful wonderful day. Will for sure be visiting here again!

While Bridgetown wasn't what we expected for a capital city, the beach of Carlisle Bay is just beautiful. Perfect white fine sand and blue-green waters. When we go again to Barbados, we will make a point of spending more time here.

I spent an entire afternoon here. The beach wasn't too crowded and the water was tranquil and inviting. Do visit:)

Seemed to be a very nice bay area and we could see the horse swimming, which was exciting. Not a crowed beach area.

The water is relatively calm and crystal clear. The beach was pristine with easy transition into the water. Incredibly refreshing! Do not miss this beach

Used by locals and visitors for sunbathing, exercising, jogging, diving, swimming, snorkeling, picnics or sitting and watching yachts and small vessels anchored in the bay. Free car park,...More

Great nay, sand and sea, but surreal afternoon. We drove to look for a nice quiet beach but found a beach that was v busy with Wednesday cruise-ship bathers and a bar that was apparently the base of the "undercover" local police - a very...More

Take a cab and go right off the beach. Tell the cab driver you want to go to the dive shop. Just look out from the beach to where all the boats from the cruise ship are parked (no more then about 500 ft out. Join all... More
