We didn't do much this holiday due to our small kids but visited St Peter. We spent most of our time at Crane Beach which is private to the resort

The views from around the resort were spectacular. The staff at the restaurants and bars were courteous and attentive. Moreover, I loved how there was no pressure or inquiry to attend a presentation. I will definitely visit again!

If you are/are planning a visit to the East Coast of Barbados, Crane Beach is a must! The waves make for a better experience than the rather less eventful West Coast. The sightly pinkish sand is very alluring and more importantly does not burn your...More

Attentive staff where you just raise a flag for service. Also private beach so we were undisturbed the whole day - don't miss it.

The beach was nice but the ocean was too rough to swim and the beach was quite small and busy in comparison to other beaches in barbados. The views are gorgeous at the beach though.

Had read reviews about this being one of the best beaches in Barbados. The pinkish sand is beautiful but the beach is ruined by the resort in the cliff top and crowded with loungers. Wouldn't bother with this one. Bottom Bay is much wilder and...More

A gloriously beautiful beach. Wonderful white sand, and crystal Caribbean blue water. Beware the very, very strong waves/undertow - the pull can overpower even the strongest swimmer. Makes for a super fun wave jumping experience, though!

A great place to spend a whole day. Expect to pay $20US / $40bds to rent 2 loungers and an umbrella. You can also rent boogie boards for some fun on the waves. Food at the cafe is ok, but a little expensive like many...More

Very dramatic sea view which is great but remember if you aren't good swimmer it's not for you, this is the ocean side of Barbados and the waves pull you in instantly, however we have enjoyed evenings walks by this beach before dinner

Stopped by here for a peak. Found a long narrow lane and parked and at the end was Beach access. It is a spectacular beach though swimming did not look recommended. Looked like something off a postcard.

About half an hour by car or a couple of hours by bus with transfers and such. if you don't have a car you are probably better off arranging for a taxi with your hotel.

Yes, there will most likely be chairs available. There are guys who bring lounge chairs and rent them out so there should be plenty available. Also, I suggest you order lunch from Cutters. They will deliver to the Crane... More
