Great view, nice atmosphere, soft sand to go for a walk. The waves are very rough and choppy in the Atlantic, so a beach visit on the Caribbean side would be more my advice.

great beach, high sea weeds in water made it less enjoyable this time. Nice chairs with covers. Nice beach bar in back for Crane resort patrons.

The waves, the sand, the cliff to jump off of, and the setting are all great. One of my favorite beaches.

It has been overwhelmed by a sticky gooey sickly seaweed which makes it impossible to swim in, stinks, and has piled up on the beach. There is no end in sight as the seaweed just keeps piling on! The hotel is very average and don't...More

We have been to the Crane Beach many times. It is on the east coast of Barbados so we were able to enjoy great waves. Most in our group enjoyed jumping/diving off the cliff. There was some seaweed but nothing that interfered with our enjoyment...More

About half an hour by car or a couple of hours by bus with transfers and such. if you don't have a car you are probably better off arranging for a taxi with your hotel.

Yes, there will most likely be chairs available. There are guys who bring lounge chairs and rent them out so there should be plenty available. Also, I suggest you order lunch from Cutters. They will deliver to the Crane... More
