Christian has been surfing for 26 years and teaching for 10. He teaches all the lessons himself, and safety is Priority #1. He keeps his groups small and uses a GoPro camera on every lesson to record each student riding the waves. "I enjoy helping people to create and document great memories while surfing in Barbados." - Boosy Fee: US$50 /person Includes: South Coast transportation, surfboard, bottled water and GoPro video footage

With August being hurricane season in the Caribbean, do you still teach beginners or recommend them to come in a different part of the year.

Hi there, just read a negative review from a middle aged overweight chap, who you couldn't accommodate as the board you needed for him had been damaged. Being a middle aged overweight, wait for it, female, I wonder whether you would discourage me from trying surfing?

Hi Jacqueline thanks for your question...Yes, it is definitely worth tying. We have new surfboards that are 11' long so we could work with you and try to get you up and riding waves. - Natasha
