Take a break with flamingos

We took a nice drive around and got to the lake. Nice view at the top of the hill and lots of flamingos at the bottom. They make a funny sound :)

This is a straight forward drive to Rincon, and follow the sign posts trip. The lake is found after a couple of miles of road, and as you turn the corner, you will be alongside the lake. On our arrival the flamingos were a little way from the shore, so a pair of binoculars would certainly help you get a... More

We stumbled upon this by accident on our drive around the island of Bonaire. It was an amazing site!! There were so many flamingos, everywhere we looked. Definitely worth a drive, or even a stop.

We had driven to see the cactus distillery which was closed. Looked at the map saw we weren't far from Lake Gotomeer so we went to see the flamingos. Didn't do the entire park, just drove around the lake saw the flamingos.

Beautiful piece of nature. Just enjoy the view, flamingo's and the drive around the lake. There are also some beautiful hiking trails.

Found the dry desert beauty of this place outstanding. While it was quite dusty (we were in an open air jeep) that's to be expected! Just take lots of water and prepare to shower (or swim in the ocean!) as well as wipe down your vehicle when done. :) Loved the views and excited to see so many flamingos in... More

Yes, we saw a few flamingo's that were close enough to see. Most of them were so far away you would have needed the Hubble telescope to see them. But was still fun to see the one's we did. Certainly not a bird you see around here. They just seem so awkward the way they walk.

It is one of the most picturesque areas on the island with the mountains in the background. But the main attraction there is the flamingos. They were everywhere. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to stop the van and get out to take photos in the area right along the water.

This is one of the most relaxing spots on the entire Island. You can drive through, pull ovet and just sit in your vehicle and watch the flamingos in their natural habitat. Take some time to cut through & see these majestic birds enjoy a leisurely afternoon.

Nice lake with lots of flamingoes chilln out in water. They can be seen from far away and worth visit experience. If you have seen flamingoes elsewhere then nuthin much m u may be disappointed but for first timers surely worth visit.
