My family and I just returned from Bonaire. We stayed at the Sand Dollar and used the Dive Friends location onsite. While we did not need or use much more than the basic services the staff was fantastic to work with. We had a couple of equipment issues and they assisted above and beyond expectations. Even though this was not... More

Spent a week on Bonaire using the services of Dive Friends. While we used only the Yellow Submarine location, Dive Friends has multiple sites conveniently located along the west side of the island. Soooo easy to drop in and pick up a tank and then return. Mainly shore divers, we did do one boat trip to the north, which we... More

Shore diving in Bonaire is great! As is the service of Dive Friends. After 8 years of diving on Bonaire with Dive Friends, they never disappoint. This year special thanks to Devon (@DiveInn) for the quick inspection of my 1st stage and to Martin (@Port) for filling up our DIN tanks while waiting. We will be back this August!

We stayed at Den Laman, and I have always dove with Andre and Bonaire dive and adventure (5 prior trips here). Andre could be a curmudgeon, but I felt he always ran a tight operation. They are gone now, and Dive Friends is running that concession. So I went to the Dive Friends "office"(a mostly empty room) - here. Sparsely... More

The first day and a half of our vacation I spent completing my Open Water Dive certification at Dive Friends Dive Inn with my best instructor ever, Zara! They were completely accommodating and very helpful because we originally showed up at the Yellow Submarine shop (there are four Dive shops and one retail Dive Friends store) before they were able... We dove with Dive Friends Bonaire that had recently taken over the dive shop between Den Laman resort and Sand Dollar Resort, easy close walk from either of these resorts. Also, you have access to the house reef right in front of the Den Laman with a large dock and rinse tanks. This is the easiest and most gorgeous diving... More

Dive friends bonaire operates many facilities. they are great in many respects, but really fall down on others. The fill stations are the cliff, yellow sub, and the one at the south end are well operated. The port bonaire station was annoying The boat trips were good. The captain and dive guide were very professional. On the other hand, their... More

Things we liked: generally friendly staff; multiple locations on the island; drive-through tank exchange. What we didn't like: slow check-in -75 minutes between arrival and getting in the water for our mandatory buoyancy check. But what we really resented was having arranged for a guided night dive on Monday, but being told when we arrived on the island that the... More

We owe you an apology for having a mis-communication about your reservation. You were scheduled to arrive on Sunday March 5th and check in at our Hamlet Oasis location. You did have a reservation for a night dive on Monday, March 6th . Unfortunately, our staff made a mistake with scheduling the night dive and told you mistakenly that we... More

We are very sorry that you were unhappy with their experience at Dive Friends. We do deal with many guests from around the world and can understand your frustrations when your requests, or responses to your requests, were not understood. In this situation, our Manager at Port Bonaire was unable to clearly explain our policy with regards to DIN tanks... More

We used Dive Friends Sand Dollar location for all our diving during our six week trip to Bonaire. Ilsa, who greets you upon arrival is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about all things diving. The staff on the dock is very helpful, especially E.T., who was always there and anticipated our every need. I have a problem with knee pain and... More
