Couldn't understand why, but it didn't sound like anytime soon. It would be worthwhile to try and find a reliable source of information- a hotel travel desk perhaps

We went from Jaruco to Hershey and even though its a rough ride we loved it. It stops in different small towns with locals getting on and off. Great way to discover Cuba.
